In celebration of 20 years of peace since the signing of Dayton peace Agreement, U.S. Embassy Sarajevo announces a contest asking high school students to answer the question: “How can you help build a better Bosnia nad Herzegovina?”
1) Essay Contest: Email entries – typed, in English, and under 300 words – to ZajednoPostizemoViseContest@state.gov, with subject “ESSAY.”
2) Video Contest: Videos should be primarily in English (but may include B/H/S) and be under 90 seconds. Post entries to YouTube and email link to ZajednoPostizemoViseContest@state.gov, with subject “VIDEO.”
Cover emails must include: (1) student name (2) phone number (3) e-mail (4) grade (5) school name, and (6) city.
Eligibility: BiH citizens attending high school in BiH.
Judging: A jury within the U.S. Embassy will select winners. Prizes in both categories are: 1st – iPhone 6; 2nd – iPad Air 2; 3rd – iPod Mini
