
Banja Luka Branch Office Director Ed Gallagher gave remarks at the opening in Banja Luka of BiH’s first Microsoft Innovation Centre (MIC). The Center will provide training to young people with the ultimate goals of helping them to found companies in the IT sector, raising their level of competitiveness, and creating jobs. The Center is one of 130 Microsoft centers established in 60 countries, which have helped set up more than 3,000 companies. In his remarks, Ed said, “I would like to congratulate Microsoft for opening this Innovation Center in Banja Luka. Through this initiative, you are building a new generation of specialized, educated, and well-prepared innovators; ready to contribute to Bosnia’s development. This is an historic moment in which all of us can be proud.”
