Demonstration Alert – U. S. Embassy Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (July 6, 2022)
Location: Skenderija and near the BiH Parliament building, Sarajevo; Trg Krajine, Banja Luka; and Spanski Trg, Mostar
Event: A group has announced protests to occur on Wednesday, July 6 in several areas. In Sarajevo the protest will start at 3:30 p.m. in front of Skenderija Center and proceed to the front of the BiH Parliament building and conclude by 4:30 p.m. In Banja Luka the protest will start at 7:00 p.m. at Trg Krajine. In Mostar the protest will start at 5:00 p.m. at Spanski Trg.
Actions to Take:
- Avoid crowds and demonstrations.
- Exercise caution if unexpectedly in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests.
- Monitor local media for updates.
- Notify friends and family of your safety.
