SITE VISIT REQUIREMENTS

The Embassy intends to conduct a Site Visit with all prospective offerors. The Site Visit is scheduled for Monday, June 13th, 2022 at 2:00p.m. at the U.S. Embassy Sarajevo Firms interested in attending SITE VISIT are required to submit the following information about their representative attending scheduled site visit:

DESCRIPTION:  Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina will launch the solicitation on the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina website when it is available.

The Contractor shall provide Preventive Maintenance Service for CAT GEN Sets at the U.S. Embassy Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.

Legal services in relation to local labor law are needed for the American Embassy Sarajevo.

Law firms responding to this announcement on or before closing date will be considered for further evaluation using the following criteria:

  • Specialized experience in interpretation of FBiH and/or RS local labor law
  • Personnel capacity fluent in English with a minimum five (5) years’ experience on labor law and/or business law to accomplish the work in required time.
  • Relevant, professional qualifications of the firm in the type of work required.
  • Experience working with diplomatic missions and/or international organizations. A minimum of three references required.
  • Evidence that the law firm possesses the locally required licenses and permits.
