The helicopters arrive on target at #JackalStone - U.S. #SOF and security forces from Bosnia and Herzegovina train as one unified force in order to counter transnational threats:

Congratulations to all who participated in the overwhelmingly successful Exercise Jackal Stone 2017!

Held from June 5 – 13, 2017 throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, the exercise is part of the U.S. European Command’s Joint Training and Exercise Program designed to enhance joint, combined interoperability with Allied and partner nations.  This year’s exercise used a realistic threat scenario to develop interoperability among U.S. security forces and their BiH counterparts. Training opportunities for exercise participants included interdiction operations, sensitive site exploitation, rule of law, assault and contingency operations, lifesaving first-aid procedures, and convoy operations.

Jackal Stone ’17 illustrated the ability of military, civil, and government agencies from the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina to work together to achieve common goals in the interest of security, stability, and peace.
