For the second weekend in a row, the U.S. Embassy presented American wines to wine lovers and connoisseurs – this time at the Sarajevo Wine Weekend at Dom Armije on October 28 and 29. The Washington, California, and Virginia wines on offer were extremely popular with guests. The United States is the world’s 4th largest wine producer, with vineyards in all 50 states – over 7,000 of them. Right now, the European Union is the biggest export market for our wines, but we hope stores here in Bosnia and Herzegovina will have American wines on their shelves soon!
