On October 13, at the event held in Banja Luka where 16 agricultural producers showcased their cheese, honey, fresh and processed fruit and vegetables, natural cosmetics and similar agro products, Ambassador Maureen Cormack spoke about the vital importance of agriculture in BiH and globally.
This event was organized as part of the USAID/Sweden FARMA II, a five year, $16.3 million agricultural and agribusiness development program that builds on the achievements of the previous activities supported by USAID and the Government of Sweden.
USAID/Sweden FARMA II will elevate agricultural capacity and production in BiH through a facilitative approach that will increase the competitiveness of commercially-oriented producer organizations (POs) and upgrade the capability of public and private service providers to meet EU requirements.
