Public Diplomacy Grant Supports Human Rights and Diversity through Job Search Training
Caritas Bosnia and Herzegovina organized its fourth U.S. Embassy-funded “Active job searching“ training for young people with disabilities from June 29 to July 2, 2021. The training covered the rights of persons with disabilities, existing employment support, communication, self-confidence, critical thinking and other skills. The training is part of a larger project to promote the rights of persons with disabilities, funded by the U.S. Embassy Sarajevo’s Public Diplomacy Section. It aims to promote the right to work and employment of people with disabilities and strengthen the competencies of young people with disabilities in labor market. So far, more than 80 young people from different local communities have benefitted from the project.
