Ambassador Cormack opened BiH’s second “Night at the Museum” (but first overnight experience) which offered hands-on learning experiences for participants from elementary and secondary schools across BiH. Designed by BiH’s NGO Center for Democracy and Education CIVITAS, and the event’s host the National Museum of BiH, the program gathered over 250 students who spent the night digging, weaving, assembling models, and learning and laughing together. For many students, the visit was the first time they had toured the National Museum, and it was certainly the first time for all of them to have a slumber party in a museum! For some students, it was the first time they had ever visited Sarajevo.
