Processing time for a full validity (5 years for children under age 16) U.S. passport is approximately 2 weeks.

You will receive an email once the new passport has arrived at the U.S. Embassy.

Instead of pick-up in person, you have the option to have your new passport returned to you by DHL.

If you are also applying for a Passport Card, you should note that they can take up to approximately 6 weeks to process.
