If you reside in Bosnia and Herzegovina you are required to apply for the passport at the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo through a pre-arranged appointment. The appointment should be scheduled in the child’s name and the child is required to appear. The parent(s) may add their name as accompany once the appointment has been scheduled.
NOTE: You can expect to be at the Embassy for approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the number of customers. Please be aware that wait times are longer for first time applicants and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad. Your wait time can be significantly reduced by filling out the required forms before you arrive.
